Ever since the year dot, I have been amessy so and so!
I was born messy, lived and messy and thought I would die messy!
That’s until I read the book by the infamous Marie Kondo called The Life Changing Magic of Tidying!
It is honestly like a miracle!
I have gone from being a messy, disorganised person who struggles to keep her space tidy and clutter free to someone who is gracefully flowing through life with a clean, tidy and fresh space. No more clutter. No more tidying. No more mess. No more heavy energy. It’s incredible!
Instead of the usual piles of stuff that need sorting and overflowing things out of drawers, I have endless breathing space, happy flowing energy all around and a lightness and a joy around my being that is amazing.
Here’s a before and after pic of my wardrobe area. I cannot begin to describe the difference that adopting Marie Kondo’s technique has made in my life!
My “AFTER’ pic
My ‘BEFORE’ pic
Watch the video for more info on this approach, how it’s changed my world and how it could change YOURS!
If you’re someone who needs to create more space in life, this technique is for you. The joys of decluttering spread out into every area of you life. Your world will transform for the better, I can promise you that!
I would love to know your thoughts in the comments below.
Are you a hoarder? Do you struggle to get rid of stuff? Have you tried Marie Kondo’s approach? Do you love it? Hate it? Have you tried something else? Please share – i would love to know how you feel about this.
With love and endless joy,
Mills xx

As busy humans living our daily lives, we can so easily get caught up in patterns which don’t serve us in the most fulfilling way. I know myself, I’ve not been taking enough care of my own physical and spiritual wellbeing lately and that’s been a source of frustration. Too many long days on the computer are not good for the soul!
As children of the Universe, it’s vital that we make time for play and fun and doing stuff we love. When we just focus too much on our work, as much as we may love it, we can get out of alignment as we may not be honouring some of the values we most need in our life. For me, time in nature is so important; as is connection to others, reflection time and fun time! I’ve made a conscious decision lately to ensure that I make enough time for all of these things that matter to me, and it’s been amazing the way that my life has opened up.
I’ve also come to see (once again) the power of intention. I’m currently doing a 6 week ‘Journey to Emergence’ with Hillary Schneider of http://www.epona-rise-retreats.com/. As part of this course, I’ve had to set out my intentions for the 6 weeks and this has been fabulous! I connect with these each day on my ‘sacred space’ and mentally imagine them happening – in fact I have gone so far as to write my intentions out as a gratitude list rather than an intention list, e.g. ‘I am so grateful that I have now let go of any limiting beliefs which are no longer serving me’. This is super powerful work and is really helping me to raise my vibration and connect more to how I want to be in the world.
As part of doing this course, I’ve been letting myself finally let go of some old stories which are limiting to say the least, so that I can make way of for the new. Part of my new story that I am embracing is that I am infinitely connected to the Divine and guided by the Divine in each and every moment. I’ve known this before and lived this way for a long time but I have had a tendency to doubt myself before. The whole notion of being ‘spiritually inferior’ is something I’ve finally decided to lay to rest so I can step up to being the Divine connected spiritual being that I am.
If accepting your own connection to the Divine is something that you’re working on yourself, I’d love to hear what’s happening for you. If you’d rather share in private, you can shoot me an email.
Here’s a video I made about feeling spiritually insecure and what you can do to help yourself. It’s part of my new video series ‘Your Divine Time’. Make sure that you’re signed up to my mailing list so you don’t miss any episodes 🙂
AND GUESS WHAT?!
By accepting that I am indeed spiritually connected and trusting in that, from deep within my belly, I’ve begun to trust in my channeling of messages. I’ve had channeled messages before from the Divine but never trusted that they are indeed channeled. Now I am accepting that I am indeed a channel for the Divine, as we all are, and when I feel guided to write words down that are given to me, I do it. What’s so beautiful about this process is that no head is used in the writing of these words at all. I never for a moment judge the words or try and craft them to be a certain way. I literally just write them down as they are given to me!
So to sign off today, I want to leave you with the channeled message of love and trust that I received yesterday. Listen to it and let if fill your every cell.
In the comments, I’d love to hear about your spiritual journey. Are there times when you have felt somewhat inferior to others? How do you deal with it? What has worked best for you?

Four months ago I left the UK on a one-way ticket to follow the pull of my heart to India. Two weeks into being here, I met my soul-mate 🙂 This pic was taken in our first few weeks together.
Life can push and pull us in all sorts of directions. Sometimes it’s hard to know which way to go; which pull to follow; where the truth of who you are really is.
But sometimes you just cannot deny the truth – that tug within that starts pushing you to new ground. You know you need to go. You know you need to step out – embracing the fear and putting your arms around uncertainty; allowing yourself to be guided to where you need to be and do what your soul needs to do.
Being unattached to the outcome frees you to roll with what is.And allows life to open up in the way that best serves you (and others) even when the path may at times be somewhat murky.
Change, uncertainty, the unknown are all things that make us uncomfortable – but if we can truly embrace them, life can work its very own magic in and through us.
I’d love to hear from you about when you have embraced your fears, followed that tug in the heart and allowed yourself to be guided to where you need to be. Please share below and let’s help each other to be stronger, more heart-led and live more fully in our truth (whatever that means for each of us).

Good, close, true, heart friends are hard to find. I’ve just had the most beautiful weekend sharing from my heart with my dear friend Tani, who is a true heart warrior herself.
We had only met a few times before (several years ago) but that didn’t lessen the connection we knew we had. I was delighted when she decided to come and stay with us in Jaisalmer for her birthday.
During this weekend. we laughed, cried, danced, and shared all of who are are – our vulnerabilities, our joys, our souls.
And I came to see that it would have been so easy to miss out on this time because I thought I was too busy. We can get so caught up on things going on in our lives — especially our work — that we miss the pleasure of making memories with treasured dear ones.
So if you know in your heart that you haven’t been making time for those special people in your life, I’m asking you to do it – this week!
Get the phone and call that person who you know you are long over due connecting with (if you’re near by you can meet up – oooh yeah, face-to-face interaction, baby!). I’m committing here and now to a Skype chat with my beloved childhood friend Karen. Hooray for that!
Friendship is so special. And sometimes we need to give it our special attention and put everything else on hold for a short while.
Who you gonna commit to making time for this week, dear busy one? I would love to hear your commitments in the comments below.
